Collector’s Tin Tea: Art Needed

Calling all artists! We are now accepting art for our Dana Point signature blend of tea. It will be a marina-harbor-Cape-Cod and blueberry inspired blend and line of teas. We also love the Lantern theme and concept, and would love one blend to be the “Lavender Lantern Blend.” The name and art will be polled and voted on in-store and at events. Finalists will once again be voted online. Add your name to our current artists: Rick Delanty, Fred Hope, Maya Speilman, Gary Zucher and Carolyn LaPort. Art must be submitted on digital file as well as hard copy for voting.

Winners will receive product. First place winner will receive $100 in store Gift Certificate.

Contest rules are as follows:
The Lavender Lounge Tea Company is now accepting entries for its Collectors Tin Art Design Art Contest. The contest, the 1st in the annual series, is open to all customers and all ages. No purchase required. The deadline to enter is April 15th, 2007. First place winner will receive $100 in store Gift Certificate and $100 check. Second-place finisher will receive a $50 Gift Certificate, and the third-place award will be $25 Gift Certificate. Your name and website may be put onto the tin to promote you as an artist, if your art is chosen. Gift Certificates are redeemable for online or in-store product only.
Contestants are limited to four entries each and each entry must be your own original artwork. Make sure to look at the layout of our existing tin labels as they measure approximately 4.5” x 2.5 “, therefore the best artwork may be in a vertical format. Entries may be in a medium of the artist's choice (oil, water color, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, photography, or graphic design, etc.). Submissions should be submitted as: An Illustrator File or Photoshop Document. Preferred as camera ready art work: at good resolution (180-200 dpi or more) with Spot Colors NOT CMYK-Process.
Digital and hard copy entries must arrive to store by email or on CD by Sunday, April 15th, 2007 before 5pm and must be accompanied by a brief statement signed by you, attesting to your inspiration for your art/design with a possible name choice for the blend. You must also provide your full name, home address, and phone number. Entries will be judged on effort, creativity, originality, and format.

Do not send original files, as entries will be not be returned and will become property of Sisters Design Inc. and Lavender Lounge Tea Company to use art and duplicate at will. Sisters Design Inc and LLTC assume no responsibility for lost or damaged artwork, and reserve all rights to reproduce entries. By submitting your artwork you are agreeing to the said terms of this contest permitting Sisters Design Inc and LLTC the right to reproduce and use your artwork at.
